This is an idea I have shamefully stolen from other users of Live Journal.
I would like to try an experiment:
In the next issue of GRANOLA, I would like to illustrate a series of confessions from my readers. Since the theme is love, I would like these confessions to be about love-related events.
So, tell me:
-Have you ever hurt a loved one with your actions or words? Did that person ever forgive you?
-Have you ever loved somebody you could never be with?
-Many of us have regrets about love. What is something you regret doing/not doing?
-Have you ever felt a love that would be socially unacceptable, or would jeopardize your employment or your relationship with your family and friends?
-Have you ever rejected somebody who loved you because you didn't love them back?
-Have you ever exploited somebody's love of you to get something out of them?
-Have you ever committed any infidelities, and did your partner/spouse ever know about it? Have you ever been hurt by a partner/spouse's infidelity and did you forgive him/her?
-Have you ever wished for somebody's love with another to fail so you could make the moves on him/her? Have you ever tried to sabotage another's relationship?
-Are you currently in a relationship yet in love with another person?
-Have you ever attempted suicide because of love or the lack thereof? Have you known anybody who has attempted suicide for these reasons?
Love is dirty business, and I want the dirt. I realize this is the kind of thing that could get you into a lot of trouble, so please feel free to share anonymously any story you have. All comments will be screened.
I hope that, if you have something in the back of your mind, you won't hesitate to share it.
-Victor
